A Christian Female detainee has finished her hunger strike
A Christian detainee in Iran, name Maryam Naghash Zargaran, has finished her yearning strike that went on for more than three weeks. Zargaran is serving four years in jail for her confidence and service in the Islamic country. She experiences different medicinal conditions and has not got appropriate therapeutic consideration while detained. Over the mid year she was allowed a couple of weeks restorative leave however was summoned back to jail before finishing her treatment. This started her latest hunger strike which started on July 9 and finished on July 31 after jail powers guaranteed to handle her case all the more decently.

Christian prisoner Maryam Naghash Zargaran, 36, ended a hunger strike she had resumed on July 5 after Iranian authorities denied her demands for early release.

Amid her trial she was sentenced to four years in jail for “social affair, intrigue and activity against national security”, while at first she had not been accused of such allegations.
For her situation, the bases for her charge were expressed as takes after:

• Converting from Islam to Christianity
• Active enrollment in an Assemblies of God church
• Establishment of a house-church to draw in the young to Christianity
• Contact with remote Christian services for evangelism in Iran
• Traveling to Turkey to go to Christian meetings
