
Turkey : Muslim Protesters Attacked Churches After Coup Attempt

Phe pro-government Muslim dissidents assaulted no less than two houses of worship that night. In Malatya, a sprawling city in Anatolia, once the heartland of Christianity in the East, they focused on a Protestant church.
Packs droning “Allahu akbar” crushed the congregation’s glass facade. “We were the main targets,” church minister Tim Stone said.
Protesters,City of Trabzon, hordes assaulted the Santa Clause Maria church, crushing windows and utilizing mallets to separate its entryway.
